In the beginning…<\/h3>\n

After a mountain accident immobillizes me for several months as a teenager, I write my first screenplay for a short film.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”10″][vc_column_text]I win a screenplay competition and shoot my first short film in 16 mm, at the age of sixteen<\/strong>. Passionate about my work, I am quickly promoted to assistant director<\/strong>, then second unit director<\/strong>. From short films to television director…<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”5″][vc_column_text]In between major feature productions, I shoot three new short films, putting my professional experience to good use: THE ENEMY<\/strong><\/a>, MIDNIGHT<\/strong>, and N \u00b0 3<\/strong>. [\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”5″][vc_column_text]That’s how I get to write and direct my first feature film: REQUIEM<\/strong><\/a>, a thriller starring Patrick Dell’Isola<\/em> and Moussa Maaskri.<\/em> Released over a hundred screens in France then in 35 countries across the world, it is selected by the Sitges International Film Festival<\/strong>, the Brussels Fantastica Film Festival<\/strong> and the Mauvais Genre Film Festival<\/strong> in La R\u00e9union in various categories.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”10″][vc_single_image image=”1757″ img_size=”large” alignment=”right” qode_css_animation=””][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”10″][vc_column_text]Ten years of TV movies and scripted TV series episodes will follow, as I become one of the most prolific directors of French scripted television, notably on France’s leading network TF1<\/strong>, with SAINT-TROPEZ<\/strong><\/a>, COMMISSIONER MOULIN<\/strong><\/a>, SAUVEUR GIORDANO<\/strong><\/a>, WOMEN OF LAW<\/strong><\/a>, R.I.S. [\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”5″][vc_column_text]In between shooting TV shows, I develop my second feature film with French powerhouse producer Luc Besson’<\/em>s EUROPACORP<\/strong> studio (producer of LUCY, TRANSPORTER, TAKEN, VALERIAN…)[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”20″][vc_column_text]COURSIER<\/a> <\/strong>(International title : PARIS EXPRESS<\/strong>) is a fast-paced action\/comedy on wheels starring Micha\u00ebl Youn<\/em> and G\u00e9raldine Nakache<\/em>. Released in 2010 in 300 cinemas in France<\/em>, the film is then distributed internationally in over 30 countries. My films have been released across the globe in over 50 countries<\/strong> and selected in multiple international Film Festivals<\/strong>. [\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”5″][vc_column_text]I enter the international scene in 2011 for FRANCE T\u00c9L\u00c9VISIONS<\/strong> with the TV movie JACK OF DIAMONDS<\/strong><\/a> (ROUGE DIAMANT in France), a French-German-Canadian co-production uniting MUSE ENTERTAINMENT<\/strong> (USA\/Canada) with FRANCE 2<\/strong>, GAUMONT<\/strong>, the ZDF<\/strong> and the Canadian network SHOWCASE<\/strong>. Entirely shot in english, in Canada, this pilot brings together an international cast led by John Bregar<\/em> (US) and Jean-Yves Berteloot<\/em> (France). Popular in Germany and Canada, where it airs to high ratings, this show is selected at the 26th Canadian Gemini Awards<\/em> for “best writing in a dramatic television series”.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”20″][vc_single_image image=”1756″ img_size=”large” alignment=”right” qode_css_animation=””][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”20″][vc_column_text]This success lands me a U.S. representation at PARADIGM <\/strong><\/a>in Los Angeles, where I work from 2012 to 2014, writing for television and cinema.
